What is AI credit?
AI credit is a credit system required to use certain generative AI features (as of December 2025: MagicPod Autopilot for all users and AI Assertion for Old Standard plan subscribers). AI credit has a free usage tier (monthly and initial). Once you've used up your free tier, you can purchase paid credits to continue using certain generative AI features.
Features subject to AI credit
*Note: Other AI features can continue to be used without usage restrictions or credits.
AI credit consumption guide
-
MagicPod Autopilot
- 1 session (one conversation exchange): Average 1.5 credits
- For simple script modifications, it may finish with less than 0.5 credits
-
AI Assertion
- 1 AI Assertion execution: Average 0.02 credits
-
Failure analysis feature
- 1 failure analysis: Average 0.2 to 0.3 credits
For example, with 20 credits (Standard Plan 2025), you can create test cases using MagicPod Autopilot (1 session) approximately 13 times, or execute AI Assertion approximately 1,000 times.
*Note: The above are approximate guidelines. Credit consumption may vary depending on the content, so please be aware of this in advance.
*Note: With future performance improvements, you may be able to do more with the same credit consumption.

Unused credits will expire at 10:00 AM Japan Time (JST) / 1:00 AM UTC on the 1st of the month following the grant date.
Expiration periods can be checked from the "Usages" tab of your organization.

Setting monthly AI credit usage limits for your organization/users
You can set a monthly AI credit usage limit for each organization/user. Only users with organization update permissions can configure this setting.
Configure this setting under the organization's "Settings" tab > "Basic info" page.
When setting a monthly usage limit, we recommend purchasing AI credits in advance.
For example, if you purchase 1,200 credits for the year and set the organization's monthly AI credit usage limit to 120 credits (which includes the 20 credits from the monthly free tier), you can more easily manage AI credit consumption and reduce the hassle of frequent purchases.
For information on how to purchase AI credits, please refer to this link.
How to check the balance/consumption History
You can check your balance by hovering your mouse over the "AI Credits" icon on the Autopilot chat screen.
Or you can check it from the organization's "Usages" page.
However, the "Usages" page can only be viewed by users with organization update permissions.
You can check the history of credit usage by each project, user, and feature in AI credit usage.
By switching the tab to AI credit acquisition history, you can check the acquisition history of AI credits and the expiration date of each credit.
Important notes
- AI credit is non-refundable under any circumstances, including after purchase and upon cancellation. Please be aware of this in advance.
- Since generative AI is a technology that generates outputs based on probabilistic predictions, it cannot necessarily guarantee outputs as intended. In light of these technical characteristics of generative AI, we cannot respond to requests for AI credit refunds based on output results. Please understand that we will continue to work on improving the response quality of generative AI.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will I be automatically charged if I use up my free tier?
No, you will not be automatically charged.
If there are multiple users in an organization, are AI credits shared across the entire organization or granted to each user?
AI credits are shared across the entire organization.
Can organization administrators check credit usage for each member?
Yes, it can be checked from the organization's Usages page. For details, please see How to check the balance/consumption History.
If I have contracts for both the Browser Plan and Mobile app Plan, is the AI credit balance shared?
Each plan has its own credit balance.
For example, you cannot use AI credits from the Browser Plan for the Mobile app Plan because there is a remaining balance in the Browser Plan.
If I have both free credit and paid credit, which will be consumed first?
Regardless of whether they are free or paid, credits with the nearest expiration date will be consumed first.
Can I receive alerts or notifications when the AI credit balance is running low?
Currently not possible, but we are considering future support.
Can I retrieve the overall credit balance for the organization via Web API?

What happens if I try to execute MagicPod Autopilot or AI Assertion(only for Old Standard Plan subscribers) when AI credit is insufficient?
An error message stating "Your AI credits have been exhausted" will be displayed during execution.
For AI Assertion, only that step will be skipped, so there will be no impact on the overall test case execution. However, the test result itself will be "failed." (Please note that specifications may change in the future.)
Will execution be interrupted if initiated with insufficient AI credit balance?
Execution may stop midway.
Can I configure settings to not use AI credits?
Currently not possible, but we are considering future support.
Setting to enable generative AI functions on a per-project basis is provided for Enterprise plan users. Reference: Controlling generative AI features per project
If I have multiple projects, can AI credits be managed separately for each project?
Currently not possible, but we are considering future support.
If I stop MagicPod Autopilot during execution, what happens to the credit?
The AI credits used up to the point when you click "Abort Generation" will be consumed.
If I upgrade my contract plan, what happens to the free credit for that month?
The difference between the grant amount of the current contract plan and the grant amount of the upgraded plan will be granted as free credit at the time of upgrade.
If I downgrade my contract plan, what happens to the free credits already granted?
Already granted free credits will not expire and can continue to be used until their expiration date.
If I cancel MagicPod, what happens to unused AI credits?
They will expire at the time of cancellation, and refunds cannot be provided.
Even if you renew your contract with the same organization, once expired credit cannot be used. Please be aware of this.
