As of July 7, 2025, MagicPod has introduced a new version of the Standard Plan. Below is a summary of the key differences.

Difference in AI credits Allocation

There is a difference in the number of credits allocated for the Monthly free usage tier. Users on the new plan receive a larger credit allocation compared to those on the old plan.

Changes to Cloud Browser/Device Options

In the new plan, the only add-on available will be “Cloud devices/browsers for both test creation and batch execution”.
Price: ¥10,000/month (excluding tax)
- The “Cloud devices/browsers for test creation only” offered in the old plan will no longer be available under the new plan.
- The number of standard included devices (2 for test creation and 2 for batch execution) remains unchanged.
- Maximum additional devices:
- Old plan: Can add up to a maximum of 20 devices each for "Cloud devices/browsers for test creation only" and "Cloud devices/browsers for batch run only"
- New plan: Can add up to 50 "Cloud devices/browsers for both test creation and batch execution"

Visual Regression Test Step Limit
- The default number of steps is reduced from 200 to 100.

Optional step additions are now available in units of 100 steps.
Price: ¥10,000/month per 100 steps (excluding tax)
How to Switch to the New Plan
Contract via MagicPod Plan Page
You can switch to the new plan by logging in with the organization owner account and navigating to:
Settings > Plans from the MagicPod organization dashboard.
At the top of the Plan page, click [Click Here to Switch Plan] to access the new plan application page.
On the application page, you can review the details of the new plan and select any additional options you may need. If there are no issues, click [Proceed to Confirmation].
Before confirming the plan switch, you will see a summary of the updated pricing, including any changes to your monthly plan and selected options. If everything looks good, click [Confirm Plan Migration] to complete the payment and begin using the new plan.
Contract via Application Form
If you subscribed to MagicPod via the application form, switching to the new Standard Plan cannot be done directly via the settings page.
In this case, the migration is dealt with on the MagicPod management side.
If you’d like to switch, please log in to MagicPod as the current organization owner and use the inquiry form at the bottom right of the MagicPod screen to submit the following information (for identification purposes, you should be logged in to the organization owner account). You will be contacted after the change is made.

※Organization names may only include alphanumeric characters, periods (.), underscores (_), and hyphens (-).
Please note that project names must end with an alphanumeric character.
When submitting, kindly ensure that the names are entered in the correct format as specified above.

Q: How long will the old Standard Plan remain available?
A: You can continue using the old Standard Plan for the time being. However, we plan to request all users to transition to the New Standard Plan in the future.
Q: Will my data and settings be preserved when switching to the New Standard Plan?
A: Yes, all of your data and settings will be retained during the transition, so you can switch with confidence.
Q: Can I switch between annual and monthly contracts?
A: Yes, you can. You can switch at any time, even during your contract period. If there is a price difference, you'll see the amount on the confirmation screen, and the switch will be completed once payment is processed.
Q: Will there be a price difference if I switch during my contract period?
A: Some option fees have changed in the new plan, so depending on your current configuration, you may need to pay a price difference. For specific amounts, please check our pricing page or feel free to contact our support team.
