The organization owner can be changed from the organization settings page. Please note that only the current organization owner can perform this change. If the current owner has already left the company and cannot operate, the MagicPod CS team will need to change the organization owner first. Please refer to “Request MagicPod CS Team to change the organization owner” section for details.

Transfer the ownership on the web console
To transfer the ownership, open the organization settings page and click the "Transfer ownership" button at the bottom of the Basic Information tab. A dialog will appear allowing you to select a new owner from the organization members. Please review the information shown and select the new owner to complete the change.
As explained in the dialog, after changing the owner, the previous owner will still retain permissions for the organization like viewing members or updating. If you'd like to remove these permissions, please ask the new owner to update the permissions. Also, the permissions for projects under the organizations will remain as well.
If the previous owner will no longer use MagicPod, the new owner will need to remove them from the organization member page.
Request MagicPod CS team to change the organization owner
If the current organization owner cannot transfer the ownership due to a reason like the owner has already retired, the MagicPod CS team will handle the transfer. To request a change, sign in to MagicPod and use the inquiry form at the bottom right of the MagicPod screen to submit the following information. You will be contacted after the change is made.
For security reasons, it can require around 2 weeks to complete the transfer.

Please note that project names must end with an alphanumeric character.
When submitting, kindly ensure that the names are entered in the correct format as specified above.
