Changes breaking backward compatibility

• New Upgraded the Chrome version to 154, the Edge version to 154, and the Firefox version to 157 on cloud browsers. Please note that this update may cause visual differences in cloud browser test results.

General

• New When the Slack member list cannot be fetched — which can happen in workspaces with many members — a mention can now be configured by pasting a Slack member ID or user group ID.
• Fix Fixed an issue where editing the expected result of one pattern in a visual diff step prevented approval of pending results for the other patterns.
• Fix Fixed an issue where copying and pasting test steps silently failed.
• Fix Fixed an issue where platform-specific test steps for a different platform could be added.

Generative AI

• New The old MCP server (magicpod-mcp-server) will be archived in a month after this release and will not get any updates.

Mobile App Testing

• New Added support for iOS 27.0 simulator and real device in the local PC environment.
• New The "Launch specified Android app" command now defaults to granting app permissions. (Existing uses of the command before this change are not affected)
• New iOS permission window for contact access can now be captured on iOS 26 or later.
• Fix Fixed an issue where the WebView app crashed on Android 13–17 cloud devices.

Browser Testing

• Fix Improved UI scan to avoid unstable UI element overlay order.
• Fix Fixed an issue where MagicPodDesktop on Windows could quit unexpectedly in some environments when taking an OS screenshot during a local browser test.
• Fix Fixed an issue where "Get issuer name" for client certificates on local PC did not copy the issuer name to the clipboard or show the confirmation message. (Issue since 1.69.0)
