Changes breaking backward compatibility

• New Upgraded the Chrome version to 137, the Edge version to 137, and the Firefox version to 139 on cloud browsers. This may cause some visual differences in cloud browser test results. 

General

• New magicpod-api-client now supports the -B option to specify a branch name. 
  • You need to use magicpod-api-client 1.40.0.1 or later to use this feature.
• Fix Fixed an issue where a “bad extract area” error might occur for the “Store image of UI element”, “Assert UI element’s image matches”, and “Assert UI element’s image does not match” commands. 
• Fix Fixed an issue where MagicPodDesktop and magicpod-command-line unexpectedly didn’t work under certain HTTPS proxy environments. 

Mobile App Testing

• New Added the model name field to the Test run information tab on the test result page when using a local real device.
• New Added an option to press the power button for the “Tap system button” command. 
• New Added support for Xcode 16.4 and iOS 18.5 simulator for the local PC environment. 
• Fix Fixed an issue where WebView elements were misaligned in iOS Safari WebView UI scans. 
  • Element positions can still be misaligned depending on the display conditions, such as when the keyboard is open or when the screen is in landscape orientation.

Browser Testing

• Fix Fixed an issue where Chrome extensions could not be installed in Chrome 137.
